Upcoming Card Classes

Just stopping by to let you know about all my up comming classes....

I'm offering this class from home next Wednesday 4th April at 7.00pm.

The following Wednessday 11th April  7.00 - 9.00 will be this class featuring thick embossing. 

Both of these Wednesday night classes will be run from my at home workshop and the cost is $20.00 including the kit.  If you would like to come along please send me an e-mail at blossie72@hotmail.com

Then on  Saturday 14th April at Daisy Chain Scrapbooks we will be making these pretty cards with a focus on masking techniques.  Call the girls at Daisy Chain to book a place.

Friday, Ya!

Anyone else feel like this today?  It has been a long hot week hasn't it?  I'm looking forward to the weekend for a chance to re-energise and regroup. 

I just wanted to let everyone know I won't be able to run a class from home next Wednesday night as we are having some repairs done to the garage.  Hopefully all going to plan class will be back on the week after 21st March.

I will be teaching these cards featuring thick embossing techniques on Saturday March 10th at Daisy Chain Scrapbooks.

This weeks classes

Hi I'm stopping by quickly to share a sneak peek of this weeks classes.

Firstly on Wednesday night here at my place is a card class focusing on getting the most from your punches. It will run from 7 - 9pm and the cost is $20, send me an e-mail if you would like to come.  blossie72@hotmail.com

Then on Friday I'll be back at Scrappers Paradise on Bribie from 10am- 12pm.  Call the store for more info and to book a spot ph 3410 1122.  Unfortunately I don't have a photo of that class to share, but it is a double page layout that will get lots of your photos scrapped. :)

More classes

I'm happy to announce I will be continuing my card classes from home.  For the next few months they will take place on Wednesday nights 7 - 9pm.  The first class will take place next Wednesday 22nd Feb.  Here is a sneak peek.

Getting back into the swing of things

Well it's already been a couple of weeks since the wedding and I'm slowly coming back down to earth and planning the coming months.  Some very exciting news I wanted to share with everyone is that I will be teaching a weekly scrapbook class at Scrappers Paradise.  Scrappers Paradise is a lovely scrapbook and card making shop at Woorim on Bribie Island.  I will be teaching my scrapbook class on Friday mornings at 10am.  My first class is this Friday the 17th of February.  Here is a sneak peek.

At last a Wedding project

Hi everyone and thank you to the girls who came to class last night it was nice to change my focus for a few hours.

So I thought I would share with you one of the projects I have done for the wedding.

I wanted somewhere a little quirky with a vintage feel for guests to place their cards.  I created a false bottom in an old suitcase and added a little banner.

Now it's finished I wish I had used pale blue and not pink for the false bottom, but it's done now :)

If I have time I'll try to share a few other little things, but time is flying by!

Cards anyone?

I have been away from here busy with all the Christmas and then wedding projects.  I'll share some pictures soon.  I hope you are all well and enjoying the beginning of a new year. 

I thought I would offer a card class next Wednesday night the 18th January, 7pm in my home workshop.

Oh Christmas Tree

Do you ever find a good idea and get stuck on it?  That is what has happened to me with these lovely christmas tree cupcakes by Bakerella.

Here is my version.

I have made a couple of batches now for gifts and they are so much fun.  I have used fruit cake and vanilla cupcakes.  I found mini ice cream cones at the supermarket, which saved me cutting them like Bakerella describes.  I also used royal icing on the cake and the cone, this dries crisp and keeps well. 

I hope you are all having fun with your Christmas preparations. 

Christmas BonBons

Thank you for all your lovely comments!  It's nice to know you are still out there and checking my blog.

So here is the first Christmas project I would like to share.

I had fun making these and filling them with goodies for Christmas day.  I was stuck matching red card to the pretty ribbon I was using.  Then inspiration stuck and I used the packaging from the gift I was putting inside.

The card behind the photo was actually a perfect colour match and a lovely flocked finish.

I hope this inspires you to think outside the square for supplies.

I'm Back

Hello, anyone who is still out there :) Life has been very jam packed lately but I am finally finding a little time to be creative again.

Next Saturday 17th Dec I have a class at Daisy Chain Scrapbooks. It runs from 10am until 12.30. Here is a sneak peek of the cards we will be making.
